12月16日的托福考试结束了，今天是个周六场，这次托福官方没有特意为难大家，甚至一反常态，学术讨论的题目直接就是之前官方免费放出的学术讨论样题（共计有28篇）中的第一篇，应该大部分小伙伴都练习过吧？

Library to Make Private Study Booths Available to Grad Students
阅读：Beginning next semester, graduate students who study in the university library will be able to reserve private study booths on a semester-by-semester basis. Each booth will be furnished with a desk achair, and a bookshelf and will have a door that can be locked when the booth is not in use so that students will be able to securely store books and other materials. The booths will be located on thetop floor of the library, where strict noise regulations will be in effect.
The woman expresses her opinion about the plan described in the article. Briefly summarize the plan. Then state her opinion about the plan and cxplain the reasons she gives for holding that opinion.
听力中女生同意，因为：
1、研究生平时在学习的时候需要用很多的材料，如果平时总是搬来搬去的，太重了。
2、很少会有学生去上到顶楼，因此那里很安静，不会有学生分心。那种宽大的教室很大的桌子只适合本科生，因为他们经常要社交和讨论，但是研究生需要研究，很少去讨论，因此他们必须专注。
Task 3：
Facilitators
When a particular habitat is damaged by a natural event the various species that live there may dieoff or leave the arca, Afer such an event, the carliest species to inhabit this damaged area may makeit possible for other species to live in the area later. These first species facilitate or enable the arrivalof o the species; thus, they are called facilitators. Facilitators may have special features that allowthem to live in an environment that has been made unsuitable for other species to survive in. Onceestablished, facilitators change the area, and other species can once again survive there.
听力中举例：在海洋当中原本有很多植物附着在大石头上，但是当有台风来的时候，这些植物就会被连根拔起。接下来这些大石头就会被蓝藻占据。因为有了蓝藻的生长，给海草的生长又提供了营养基础，因此很多海草就会生长在这些大石头上，但是如果没有蓝藻先出现在石头上的话，海草也不会生长在石头上。
Task 4：
公司授权的缺点。当一个产品卖的比较好的时候，一般公司会为了降低成本，不会选择在海外建厂，而是选择卖授权。但是授权会产生问题，例子就是一个做鞋子的公司，授权的产品质量没有原来母公司好，名誉被破坏；还有一个做手机的厂商，会生产相同的产品与原公司来进行竞争。

I would live in a rural area if the government gave morefinancial help to farmers. Athough it may cost very little to livein a rural area, it costs a lot to begin a career in agriculture. If lhad financial help, I would start my own farm and be happy tolive in a rural area.

In my country, urban centers are great places to live becauseyou can access shops, restaurants, and museums. if thegovernment of my country wanted to attract me to live in arural area, the area would first have to attract morebusinesses focused on entertainment and culture than mostrural areas have now

讨论三角龙头上frill的作用。
听力反驳
1、三角龙头上出现的一些洞不是打斗造成的。因为如果是打斗造成的话，他还会进行愈合。但是这些洞的周围都没有愈合的疤痕，所以不是打斗造成的，而是一些慢性病。
2、如果用于交配求偶的话，往往是成年之后才会长出这些frill。但是研究发现一些非常小的三角龙，也长frill，没有性成熟，所以跟 mating 无关；
3、长肌肉没有短肌肉强壮，软的长肌肉可能让它更容易受捕食者攻击。
